what information we collect and why

We ask you to log in using your Facebook account because we want to make sure real people are signing up to have real conversations. We only get your name and email from Facebook, and we don't ask to see anything else. Beyond that, we also ask questions about who you support and who you'd like to talk to, and you'll have an opportunity to provide a zip code if you're open to having an in-person meeting.

When we match you, we send an email to you and your match on the same thread, so you'll see each others emails and first names. We get that this may not be ideal, and we may build a messaging system to hide your email addresses later.
